Basic Grey

I am so happy that the day is finally here!! ~:o)
I am going for Vocal Cord surgery @ 8:30 am on Thursday 1/8/09!! I have been
dealing with hoarseness for over a year now and hopefully this will solve
the problem.
See there is a cyst on my cord on one side and there are blood vessels on
the outer covering. When they vibrate with the cord on the opposite side it
could cause them to bleed. Because of this cyst it does not allow them to
close properly and I get very winded when having conversations!! Extremely
annoying!
My DH has taken off until next Monday and DMIL will have the kids till Sat.
Unfortunately, my son will miss school on Friday.
Small price to pay to get my voice back!!!
Oh did I mention that I cannot talk for 3 DAYS!! I think that will be the
hardest part of this ordeal!
